Clinics across the United States are conducting a clinical research study for people with mild to moderate Alzheimer’s disease. This study will test the safety and tolerability of an investigational medicine.

The person in your care may be able to participate in this study if he or she:

• Is 50–89 years old
• Has a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease or probable Alzheimer’s disease
• Lives at home or in a community dwelling with an appropriate caregiver
  who can accompany him or her on all study clinic visits and visit him
  or her at least 5 times a week

The staff at the clinic will review additional criteria with you. Study participation lasts approximately 47 weeks and includes about 15 visits to the study site and 6 telephone contacts. Study participants will not be charged for study-related office visits, medical evaluations, or study medication.
